A BREAKTHROUGH IN
LIFESPANRESEARCH

A CURE FOR AGING IS NEAR.

Aging is a complex and difficult topic that has been the center of attention of many scientists for centuries. That's also what Bill Andrews, Ph.D., the founder of Sierra Sciences, has made his challenge to solve. Aging isn't an accident. We age because our telomeres get shorter and our cells age. Every time our cells divide, our telomeres get shorter and our cells age. Aging is also the cause of a lot of diseases. Research suggests that control of the telomere length has the potential to treat many diseases linked to aging.  This is what SIERRA SCIENCES group of scientists
led by Dr Andrews has been working on for the last two decades and is close to finding cures that will
change the way we live
our life forever.

"Aging can be controlled and stopped, a statement solidly grounded in good science, which makes it both verifiable and demonstrable" - Bill Andrews, Ph.D.

Sierra Sciences mission:
Develop a drug that will induce the production
of Telomerase to lengthen humans Telomeres
and therefore reverse our aging process, as well as cure diseases linked to aging.

AT THE HEART

OF THE AGING PROBLEM

"Anyone who doesn't want to die a needless and debilitating death should be interested in learning how to do so" - Bill Andrews

WHAT'S THE POINT OF LIVING A LONG LIFE IF WE CAN'T LIVE IT WELL?
Human aging can be controlled and stopped.
Aging is a disease and it can be cured.  Much of the puzzle of aging relates to the telomere, the repetitive region of the DNA at the end of our chromosones. Without telomeres, our cells cannot divide, and it's the progressive shortening of our telomeres throughout our lives that leads to most of the diseases of aging: cancer - atherosclerosis - osteoporosis among many others.

RESEARCH SUGGESTS THAT CONTROL OF THE TELOMERE LENGTH HAS THE POTENTIAL TO TREAT MANY DISEASES LINKED TO AGING.

AGING = TELOMERE SHORTENING DISEASE

Telomeres are structures at the end of our chromosomes that shorten every time a human cell divides. The length of an individual's telomeres is closely associated with their biological age. Research shows that control of telomeres could possibly allow humans to live at a physiologically "young"  age and health

beyond the current theoretical maximum human lifespan of 125 years.

WHAT CAN BE DONE AND WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL?

SIERRA SCIENCES IS AT THE VERGE OF A MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH!

There is a way to lengthen telomeres as it is possible to coax the repressor protein off its binding site with the use of a small molecule drug-like compound or natural product that binds to the repressor and detaches the repressor from the DNA and/or prevents it from attaching to the DNA in the first place.

When we find the appropriate compound, we will turn telomerase on in every cell in the human body, thus allowing the cells to divide as many times as necessary. THAT will give us control of the telomere length, and thereby reverse the mechanism of aging.

Sierra Sciences has discovered over 900 compounds in 39 distinct drug families that induce the expression of telomerase in normal cells.

We screened 250,000 compounds and found a chemical that induced 5% of the telomerase expression needed to stop telomere shortening. From that, new chemicals were designed, and after screening an additional 50,000 of these, one was found more than 3 times as potent, at 16% - the strongest level of expression ever discovered anywhere in the world!

THE PERFECT DRUG IS NEAR but we haven't found it yet, as none of the compounds found induces telomerase in large enough quantities likely to stop or reverse aging.

900 COMPOUNDS FOUND!

SIERRA SCIENCES is THE ONLY COMPANY that found a drug that induces telomerase to 16% of some immortal cell lines, the STRONGEST LEVEL EVER DISCOVERED!
